TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

For me, great aesthetic training begins with safety—a principle deeply rooted in my experience as an emergency physician. I’ve seen firsthand how critical it is to understand anatomy, think under pressure, and never compromise on patient care. That’s why I’m passionate about raising the standard in medical aesthetics through thoughtful, evidence-based education.

My goal is to make learning accessible, engaging, and real. With a background in digital education and a Master’s in Education, I’ve developed a strong interest in asynchronous learning that’s flexible but high-impact. I want learners to feel supported while moving at their own pace—and to truly apply what they learn in the real world.

To me, medical aesthetics is equal parts art, science, and technical skill. I strive to bring all three into every lesson, combining structured knowledge with a friendly, approachable teaching style. I believe in creating a space where learners feel confident asking questions, pushing their skills, and stepping into the industry as safe, capable, and inspired providers.

She is dedicated to ensuring that education and patient care in aesthetics reflect both scientific excellence and avoid a paint-by-numbers approach.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe that aesthetic medicine should never be one-size-fits-all—and neither should the way we teach it. My approach to education is grounded in the same values I bring to patient care: personalization, empathy, and excellence.

When I teach, my goal is to help learners feel confident and inspired to create customized treatment plans rooted in both science and artistry. I place a strong emphasis on bedside teaching and mentorship, because some of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned came not from lectures, but from the quiet guidance of mentors who took the time to invest in me. I now strive to give that same support back to the next generation of providers.

My teaching style is detail-focused and feedback-driven, always encouraging critical thinking and refinement of technique. I care deeply about inclusive, culturally mindful care, and I integrate this into my training—especially when it comes to serving diverse patient populations, with diverse cultural standards of beauty

Ultimately, my mission is to help students not only master their skills, but to develop the clarity and awareness to create truly personalized care for every patient they treat.
